“I used to not like the desert scenery.

It felt like a lot of nothing.

Now it feels like all of it, everything, is just open”

From my desert diary for the retreat, during sunrise.

I came back with the insight that I deserve to be loved by myself and by others, I allowed myself to feel, to hurt, and to bring myself and my heart open for anyone who’s interested, and to eat a lot with a little less guilt, because the food, like the experience, was:

Comforting, filling,

Leaving you wanting more.

More astonishment,

More inner observations without fear of what you might discover,

More exposing your soul to other souls, each on its own journey.

During sunrise I saw the sun making its way to shine from the bottom to the top, stubbornly through the clouds, and so am I.
